Wildlife Haven

Surrounding Globe Hall is our wonderful ‘Wildlife Haven’, an exciting maze of paths, bridges and water features, for visitors to explore and enjoy. Nature’s beauty with the value and importance of biodiversity are highlighted by the Haven.

The area is also a picnic space for visitors. Its deeper purpose is to draw attention to links between the natural world on which all life depends, the “green” environment, and the largely man-made World of transport, the “brown” environment. Here is the arena of sustainable transport, - whether by land, water, or in the air.
